Grinding

I've been involuntarily grinding my teeth again for the past few days so I have to wear again my TMJ mouth guard. It made me search more on what really causes this and here's what I found which might be applicable to me:

- Anxiety, stress or tension

- Suppressed anger or frustration

- trauma (such as a car crash)

I hopeit will stop, or else all my tooth jackets may fall off.

Floyd vs. Miguel

After watching the fight, now I don't want to see a Mayweather-Pacquiao match. Floyd's body is like a rock and his punches are like Thor's hammer. It was surprising that Cotto was still up until the last round. Well, points are fair and it was a good fight. Was just stunned to see Justin Beiber who accompanied Floyd to the ring.

Meant to be

Suddenly, I have a round trip ticket to Hong Kong for November. Last labor day, at 2am, I was supposed to book tickets for my parents with Cebu Pacific airlines. The first time I submitted it, I got an error so I had to do it over again. When I logged in to my account, I forgot to uncheck "I'm travelling", but I actually changed the names in the fields to my parents'. So I submitted and processed the payment and was shocked to see my name in the passengers' list. Well, partly it's my fault for not rechecking the summary before I submitted the payment. I was too concerned unchecking the optional extra charges. And it's a big bug of their website. Even if the "I'm travelling" box is checked, the names I manually entered should override my stored info.

Anyway, we couldn't do anything about it, so my sister was forced to make it an early Christmas present since I was using her credit card. And I believe it's a "meant to be" mistake. It would be actually better to accompany my parents so they could maximize their time in HK. With the flight schedule, it's like we'll only have 2 days and a half there. I've been there last 2009 and I loved it. I hope my sis could join us. It will also be a perfect time for me to travel again outside the country since our training ends on October.

Movie of the year

THE AVENGERS is definitely the "movie of the year". I finally watched it today after several days of trying to avoid not only the long lines in the cinema, but also with something else. The movie is fun with the right amount of action and laughter. The first few scenes were a bit awkward to me though because I was surprised to see Cobie Smulders. I still see her as Robin from HIMYM. But overall, I'll give it a 9/10 rating and Tony Stark rocks!

I was really disappointed when Elise Testone got eliminated. She's a good singer, way better than Hollie. So for the top 5, here's what I want to happen:

Busy busyhan

Busy days are here. There's just a lot of projects to be submitted next week so I need to stop my procrastination and start working on
 - draft on Climatology
 - research on weather satellites and some fronts affecting the SouthWest monsoon
 - create a flowchart of a monthly record of several weather parameters

So this weekend, I'll say NO to facebook, NO to TVseries but still YES to THE AVENGERS in iMax. :D

out-of-town weekend

It was an unplanned trip. Last weekend we got invites for a summer event at Playa Calatagan. We didn't have other plans so we said yes to a 4-hour day trip to Batangas. It was a perfect time and place to relax and be away from our notebook.

The place is beautiful but only homeowners are allowed to use the swimming pools

so we just unwind near the beach and played some cards and had good food, good music and good company.

Sensitivity and common sense

I just couldn't explain why are they so insensitive... Common sense is uncommon indeed.
