I went to banana book today at SM to submit photos of our Disney trip. I'm glad they have more options now for their travel theme. I actually want to do the layout but I have no time, deadlines are killing me at work. Anyway, before I went to the office, i dropped by Starbucks to get my favorite drink and tadada! I got lucky again! The receipt generated a survey with a free tall beverage of my choice, once I'm done with the online survey. I just love Starbucks.

One of the addicting word games that I love is Hangman. I used to pay this when I was a kid; it was the paper version though. But with the technology we have right now, who needs paper when you can play it online. I like the Countries category the most. It’s just a simple guessing game by clicking on the letters you think are in the word to be guessed. I’m a fan of this game especially during break time at work. Make sure you don’t reach seven incorrect letters or else, the poor man will be hung. Other categories to choose from are Animals, Body Parts, Fruits, Girl Names and Kitchen tools. Simple, isn’t it

i'M SiCk

I'm sick, just like Chy. I have cough and colds too and I feel a bit feverish. It started last Saturday and if this gets worse, I might go home to Bohol before the week ends (mamista diay to).
I'm done reading, actually listening to Twilight audiobook, and now I'm starting with New Moon.
I was laughing yesterday, thinking how kawawa Monday is. I was browsing my Facebook account and they all blame it on Monday, like : Monday blues, Monday sickness, lazy Monday, sick Monday.... Maybe it was because of the heavy rain last Sunday that made everyone in the city, feel tired and sick.

i LoVe bOsSa

I love Bossa; it’s the type of music I’d love to hear when hanging out at coffee shops. The perfect muzak if you’re at café’s just reading books, chillin’ out with friends or simply relaxin’. Some of my favorites are:

At 17 Sitti
I didn't know I was looking for Love
Waters of march
Will you still love me tomorrow
For No One

And I think my voice is fit for Bossa.... hehehhe

Finally, we checked out the apartment today, which was recommended by Ethel. We’ve been looking for apartment for rent since I don’t know when. We have viewed several, and this one is close to what my sister and I need. The place is lovely and the location is perfect. And the curtains made it lovelier. The place is close to a water-refilling station and a laundry shop and some restaurants. Once we have the AC and internet installed, I’ll be fine working at home. What I’m excited about the most is the mini kitchen. I can now cook at least during weekends. It means more groceries, not junk food or chocolates this time but maybe more of something that I can cook. I would never worry about that with the help of Terri’s list and the grocery coupons. It will definitely help us save. Well, we really have to save more if we decide to move there since it’s more expensive that what we are renting now. We are 95% sure that we’ll take it; we don’t have any other options anyway.

My vibes are good with the place and our housemate to be is nice, so I don’t think we’ll have a problem with that.

hU iS tHe....

I was browsing at some old emails and I found this forwarded joke that still makes me laugh out loud.

Hu's The President?

Playwright Jim Sherman wrote this today after Hu Jintao was named chief of the Communist Party in China.
HU'S ON FIRST By James Sherman (We take you now to the Oval Office.)

George: Condi! Nice to see you. What's happening?
Condi: Sir, I have the report here about the new leader of China.
George: Great. Lay it on me.
Condi: Hu is the new leader of China.
George: That's what I want to know.
Condi: That's what I'm telling you.
George: That's what I'm asking you. Who is the new leader of China?
Condi: Yes.
George: I mean the fellow's name.
Condi: Hu.
George: The guy in China.
Condi: Hu.
George: The new leader of China.
Condi: Hu.
George: The Chinaman!
Condi: Hu is leading China.
George: Now whaddya' asking me for?
Condi: I'm telling you Hu is leading China.
George: Well, I'm asking you. Who is leading China?
Condi: That's the man's name.
George: That's who's name?
Condi: Yes.
George: Will you or will you not tell me the name of the new leader of
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir? Yassir Arafat is in China? I thought he was in the
Middle East.
Condi: That's correct.
George: Then who is in China?
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir is in China?
Condi: No, sir.
George: Then who is?
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir?
Condi: No, sir.
George: Look, Condi. I need to know the name of the new leader of
China. Get me the Secretary General of the U.N. on the phone.
Condi: Kofi?
George: No, thanks.
Condi: You want Kofi?
George: No.
Condi: You don't want Kofi.
George: No. But now that you mention it, I could use a glass of milk.
then get me the U.N.
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Not Yassir! The guy at the U.N.
Condi: Kofi?
George: Milk! Will you please make the call?
Condi: And call who?
George: Who is the guy at the U.N?
Condi: Hu is the guy in China.
George: Will you stay out of China?!
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: And stay out of the Middle East! Just get me the guy at the
Condi: Kofi.
George: All right! With cream and two sugars. Now get on the phone.
Condi picks up the phone.)
Condi: Rice, here.
George: Rice? Good idea. And a couple of egg rolls, too. Maybe we
should send some to the guy in China. And the Middle East. Can you get
Chinese food in the Middle East?

Pay Day Loan

Getting a loan is now easier these days with Pay Day Loan. This service is actually better than the emergency cash provided by most credit card companies. The good thing about this is it’s available all over the US and the best thing is, it’s not dependent on your credit score. Even if you have a bad credit, you can still be approved, so long as you can provide the basic requirements online. You don’t need to line up in banks or look for a fax machine since you can apply online 24/7. This type of loan can accommodate maximum of $1500, so if you need more than that, then you should apply for personal loans.

WiTh a LiTtLe HeLp FrOm mY fRiEnDs

What would you think if I sang out of tune
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song
And I'll try not to sing out of key
Oh I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm going to try with a little help from my friends

What do I do when my love is away?
(Does it worry you to be alone?)
How do I feel by the end of the day?
(Are you sad because you're on your own?)
No I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm I get high with a little help from my friends
Mm going to try with a little help from my friends

(Do you need anybody?)
I need somebody to love
(Could it be anybody?)
I want somebody to love

(Would you believe in a love at first sight?)
Yes I'm certain that it happens all the time
(What do you see when you turn out the light?)
I can't tell you, but I know it's mine
Oh I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm I get high with a little help from my friends
Oh I'm going to try with a little help from my friends

(Do you need anybody?)
I just need somebody to love
(Could it be anybody?)
I want somebody to love

Oh I get by with a little help from my friends
Mm going to try with a little help from my friends
Oh I get high with a little help from my friends
Yes I get by with a little help from my friends
With a little help from my friends

wOrK @ hOmE

There are lots of things why I love home-based type of work:

1. I don’t need to wake up early, but of course I need to discipline myself or else, I’ll oversleep.
2. I can go home anytime to Bohol and relax, good thing we already have a DSL connection. And of course, I can go home for the annual fiesta this May.
3. I can travel often and not worry about filing service incentive leaves. This is what I love most. Just like last year, I went to Singapore, and stay there for 2 months. Last month, we went to Hong Kong for 5 days. By the end of the month, we plan to go to Apo Island and maybe by July, Boracay.
4. I don’t need to dress up all the time – well, could be a con sometimes.

I’m glad to be here, we don’t really feel the recession. Well, if you want schedule flexibility, check out and see how you can get opportunities.
