I haven't been to the cinema for quite a while and I don't need to, coz the past weeks were my own version of blockbuster. As the end of the 2nd term was approaching, we had loads of projects and assignments, which consumed our supposed to be study time for the finals and we were all like in a topsy-turvy state. Anyhow, we survived that week, as well as the final exam, though I’m not confident with the result.
Then we had a 4-day study tour which was more exhausting than being fun. There was a lot of drama and clash of personalities.
Anyway, we visited several PAGASA stations and went up higher in the atmosphere. We literally looked at both sides of the clouds. All I could say is that the people assigned in those stations definitely deserve hazard pay. The Tanay radar station is like a military hideout, 1500 ft above sea level, a really secluded place. They say that the sight of snakes and monkeys around is normal. The view from Baguio radar station is also awesome, located at 2000 meters above sea level. The scary part there is the road, coz one wrong move, and it’s like you'll fall off the cliff.
And now, I'm having some good rest and relaxation at home while the very strong wind continues to blow which is caused by the southwest monsoon and intensified by the 6th cyclone of the year, GENER (int'l name: SAOLA).
