Party host

It will be our Christmas party next week. Since I’m tasked to host the party, I have to prepare my dress and I hope be able to handle things right. There will be no way for me to fully enjoy the party though since I will be so nervous because it will be my first time to host an event this big. The venue has been prepared with decorations, and I believe there will be a band. The sound system has been set up, the amplifiers, drumset and the Music Man Bass guitar are there and it sounds amazing.

In High Spirits

It was my lucky ride yesterday when I booked a cab using the GrabTaxi application. I was on my way to the airport and the meter registered 57pesos, but since they have a promo which is 100pesos off the metered fare, I didn't pay anything. :)

So yesterday, I went to Iloilo for a speaking engagement at a workshop with OCD. When I arrived at the Iloilo airport, I felt nervous for my talk, being in a new place and talking to a new group of people, but it helped a lot when I heard Christmas songs just as I got out of the plane; these songs always fills my heart with gladness. I also felt intimidated at first when I got to the venue, unfamiliar faces seriously looking at me. But after my talk, everything changed and the organizers were really nice and so accommodating, it felt like I've worked with them for a long time. I admire them so much. I love their positive attitude towards work and their leadership when it comes to disaster management.

And now I'm back in Cebu, I had to go straight to work for an 8 hour shift and I felt tired but some good news would keep my spirits high and keep me awake.

I am so blessed. Early this year, I was so excited with my Europe plans for March next year and tried so hard to save, but then, life is full of surprises. Two weeks ago, an opportunity came for a scholarship in Australia and I am so ecstatic. I'm done with the first exam and the panel interview, and the results went well. I still need to go through more exams and interviews but I am claiming it now! I am not worried anymore coz I know, whatever happens, there will always be detours and might as well enjoy it. Along with this, I recently attended a training in the central office and it was great. It was a collaboration with the UK Met and they introduced some warning systems which I think should also be adopted in our country and the talk of their chief meteorologist was inspiring. I am blessed, I am inspired. And I hope I could spread this positivity wherever I am headed today.

Sunday, October 19, 2014

It felt like college days again, as I tagged along with my friend from my previous work, who invited me to visit her friend's house for a fiesta celebration. At first, it was kind of embarrassing, but good thing there were only few visitors when we arrived. I can still remember coming inside the house hungry but the sight of the karaoke diverted my hunger to my desire to sing. Who would not want to when you are greeted with a warm welcome and it’s been almost half a year since I sang on a karaoke, plus they have 60" TV screen and a fostex pm0.4 speaker. Well, good thing I still keep a list of songs in my mind. So I just munched a bit for lunch then hit the numbers for Irene Cara's "Out Here On My Own" and "Fame".

Anniversary Gift

It will be our parent's wedding anniversary on the 24th. And as our gift to them, we booked roundtrip tickets and accommodation in Boracay for three nights. It will be my mom's first to visit the place, so I hope she’ll feel more excited than anxious about it. Baguio was actually their first option but I strongly suggested Bora because I don't think my mom will be comfortable with the 5-hour bus ride to the city. So I really pray that no weather disturbance is going to affect the region during that time so they could just relax. I am excited for them and I hope they are too, and I hope they’ll enjoy the place especially with the more beautiful sunset this time of the year. It’s also less windy now since we are transitioning to Northeast monsoon, so it’s the perfect time to go there.

1 year

Today is the anniversary of the Bohol 7.2 magnitude earthquake. It was the time when we felt the earth rumbled as it shook us for 33 terrifying seconds. Some may have not been healed yet, especially those who lost their loved ones, but generally, I'd say, the province has moved on. No more afraid of the earthquake, what's left is a community of stronger people. And this song is perfect to inspire us, and to remind us that our beautiful province of Bohol has so much treasure. And one of our treasures are the talented composers, who are still able to make good local music, just like this song, which could have arranged with the sound of epiphone goth les paul.

Miss Saigon 25

So in love with Lea and Rachelle's The Movie In My Mind and the super kilig performance of the original Chris & Kim of The Last Night of the World.

Hectic October

Finally, it's my day off after working straight for 11 days. Since we had to change the schedule, my days off are moved to Thursday and Friday. Work is very demanding when October started. The first day, kicked off with a torrential rainfall which recorded 118mm of rain in a span of three hours. The heaviest rain that I experienced and could recall so far. Then, two tropical cyclones already entered the country, NENENG, then OMPONG, which is currently inside PAR. This system could become as strong as YOLANDA. I would’ve wanted to go home and relax but I'm hesitant to travel by sea tomorrow because the monsoon system are again enhanced, bringing rough seas condition.

I guess I will still be busy for the rest of the month, so I may not have Oktoberfest nights.

MARIO 2014

Just 2 days after cyclone LUIS exited PAR, TC Mario started to develop. It didn't directly affect large cities in the country, but the Habagat was enhanced, bringing large volume of precipitation. It first flooded Cebu City, but at least it was only for a day. The next day, it flooded Manila and I feel really sad for the situation there. It wasn't as severe as Ondoy in 2009 or the Habagat in 2012, but this severe flooding happens almost every year now. I'm scared that this might eventually happen in Cebu. I really hope our city engineers and our leaders are taking into consideration the drainage system before giving permit to build structures like subdivisions.

So now, we are approaching the last quarter of the year, and this time, cyclone tracks moves down so it will be time for the people in Visayas and Mindanao to prepare for cyclones. I hope there won't be anything like Yolanda.

LUIS 2014

This cyclone is currently affecting the northern portion of the country and is already in the typhoon category. It is not directly affecting our region but Gale warning has been issued over Visayas as it enhanced the southwest monsoon, which means we have strong winds with rough sea conditions. I actually love the windy weather today but last week was bad. We had several thunderstorms which took the lives of four teens, 3 were drowned in flashflood and one was struck by lightning. We are expecting more thunderstorms until October so I hope everyone will always be alert during these times.

Hair power

I had eight months of smooth, straight, long, black hair; it was pretty but I could no longer manage it, so I decided to cut it short and have it colored with a shade of red and I love it. I also feel lighter. What I don't like is that there's a damaged portion at the back of my scalp where there's plenty of dead hair. That spot at the back seems like where I pour shampoo every time I bathe. It looks dry and there's fly-away. hair pieces would have fix this, but it’s not a daily thing, so I'll just do with accessories like clips and hairbands. So in a few months, my hair will grow again, and by then I'll have to decide whether to get a rebond or a perm.

Family time

I'm happiest when all members of our family are together in one place. And with my nieces around, it's more joyful. Being able to adjust with the weather was a bit of a problem for them since it was winter when they left, so they had to endure the warm and humid weather in Bohol and almost everyone got sick, including me. My 500mg vitamin C was defeated by our busy, fun-filled, family vacation, but it was all worth it and thankful that the weather was cooperating during our outdoor activities.

RIP, my Captain

Just last weekend, I watched The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, so when I learned that Robin Williams passed away, the news was like a continuation of the movie. And like everyone else, the news made me watched scenes of his unforgettable movies, just like the Dead Poet Society. I kept repeating those scenes with lines which reminds you of life's lessons, and my favorite is:

"to remind myself that we must constantly look at things in a different way"

I also kept watching the most touching scene of the movie which is the last part. Most of his famous movies are really inspirational which makes the cause of death really odd coz it seems like his living in a totally different world from the roles he's been portraying.

The 8 Types

I recently read about Gardner's theory of multiple intelligence, I might had encountered this in my Education subjects in college, but didn’t really matter to me that time. I'd like to visualize it as having partitions in our brain and each person has different configuration in a way that one intelligence may be higher than the other.  Though there is no further studies yet that offer evidence of the theory's validity, I find the concept quite interesting and very practical, and I believe should be widely make known to Filipinos so as to not limit our concept of being intelligent. It's sad to know that it seems to be part of our culture, that the students coined as “intelligent" are only those who are good in Math or Science or English (Logical–mathematical, Naturalistic, Verbal–linguistic) thus, the best opportunities are always available to them. And for those who have more of the other abilities, are only termed as good in the extra-curricular, which sounds not as important. Most of us had this concept instilled to us when we started going to school. This is just my random thought anyway without any deeper research on the issue.

Anyway, out of curiosity I tried those free online tests and most of the results say that my Intrapersonal intelligence dominates.

Small beginnings

I’m glad that Jose Cuervo gave me the guts to be honest with myself and to my friends. I haven't had a conversation like that with them for quite some time and it was such a relief to pour out my emotions to them. It's funny how the universe makes wonderful things happen, gathering friends together in the right time to be with the right people to tell each other the right things. I learned a lot from them that night, though I might have missed some, since Cuervo knocked me down. One eye opener though is the idea of enabling and disabling, never thought that's what I've been doing, and it's up to me to change that; I will be one brave girl if I'll be able to make a move and learn to let go. It was fun and heartwarming at the same time talking to them with my deepest emotion. We don't exactly have the same points of view all the time but we know when to talk, when to stop and when to listen.

I'm lucky to have them, they are my life’s music, my musian friend, the long distance and length of time not seeing each other didn't matter. It seems like it was only weeks ago when we had our last inuman session. A lot of things may have changed but our closeness didn't. It’s like we were college girls again, talkin' about boys, but only better and hotter. :)

I wish us all the best especially with the N.I.CH.e plans. I really hope it will be realized coz I believe great things start from small beginnings.

Gravity - Sara Bareilles

Got interested with the lyrics of this song as it perfectly describes a portion of of my life which I've been trying to resist. I gotta disable this gravity.
 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long.
No matter what I say or do
I'll still feel you here 'til the moment I'm gone.

You hold me without touch.
You keep me without chains.
I never wanted anything so much
Than to drown in your love and not feel your rain.

Set me free,
Leave me be.
I don't wanna fall another moment into your gravity
Here I am and I stand so tall, just the way I'm supposed to be.
But you're on to me and all over me.

Oh, you loved me 'cause I'm fragile
When I thought that I was strong.
But you touch me for a little while
And all my fragile strength is gone.

I live here on my knees
As I try to make you see
That you're everything I think I need here on the ground.

But you're neither friend nor foe
Though I can't seem to let you go.
The one thing that I still know is that you're keeping me down.

You're keeping me down, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
You're on to me, on to me, and all over...

Something always brings me back to you.
It never takes too long.

It's scary to think that a plane could be shot down just like that. Few months ago, the world was shocked with the disappearance of MH370 and then this, 298 innocent people onboard MH17, all dead. It happened, and there’s nothing more we can do about that terrifying incident. We will just pray that it won’t trigger any bigger dispute among countries, so today, I pray for world peace.

Glenda, Henry 2014

Goodbye Glenda, hello Henry.

Typhoon Glenda, brought destruction as it crossed the Philippine landmass, but at least, we have a low number of casualties as everyone was prepared. As Glenda exits, another disturbance is about to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Though it is not expected to landfall, it will enhance the southwest monsoon which will bring windy and rainy days over the weekend. So be safe everyone and don't forget your pets, the need our help and they get sick too, so you may want to get something from to be added in your first aid kit.

Happy days ahead!

I love how my days went by for the past few days. The little black clouds have stopped walking around with me, and I really hope it will last long. The weeks to come are pretty exciting, my bff’s arriving next week, and everyone in the family is coming home next month. So there’s no room for gloom.

An inspiring quote from the movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

The Great Wall

Beijing is not in my list of places I want to visit but, I was lucky enough to be selected as a participant of an 11-day training. It was my first international training and am so thankful that the exhausting preparation was worth it. It was nice to visit the Great Wall but I didn't expect the huge crowd. I know it would have been great being there without the crowd and maybe hike comfortably at your own pace. But anyway, I am thankful for the experience, I didn't expect I would be able to travel outside the country this year.

And now I am so excited of my travel plans next year with my sister. So I should be saving hard, for a two week backpacking trip in Europe and the thought of Miss Saigon makes me more excited.

About Time

Rachel McAdams' classic, dazzling beauty once again starred in a movie about time travel, this would be her third. It's a feel good romantic kind of movie, with a bit of humour, not much drama. It was filmed in London and you can see some sceneries of nature which really look beautiful and peaceful. They also featured, the restaurant where you dine in total darkness; it must be famous in Europe since this type of dining was also part of a scene in the movie When In Rome. Anyway, the movie was overall good, I'd give it a score of 7/10.

My song for summer 2014

You can be amazing
You can turn a phrase into a weapon or a drug
You can be the outcast
Or be the backlash of somebody’s lack of love
Or you can start speaking up

Nothing’s gonna hurt you the way that words do
When they settle ‘neath your skin
Kept on the inside and no sunlight
Sometimes a shadow wins
But I wonder what would happen if you

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave
With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

I just want to see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

Everybody’s been there,
Everybody’s been stared down by the enemy
Fallen for the fear
And done some disappearing,
Bow down to the mighty
Don’t run, just stop holding your tongue

Maybe there’s a way out of the cage where you live
Maybe one of these days you can let the light in
Show me how big your brave is

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave
With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

And since your history of silence
Won’t do you any good,
Did you think it would?
Let your words be anything but empty
Why don’t you tell them the truth?

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave
With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
See you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you

Summer 2014

Yesterday, March 26, the weather bureau declared the termination of Northeast monsoon which is also means the onset of the dry hot season, commonly called summer. Technically, we cannot call it Summer, since that term is applicable in temperate regions where they have four seasons. So with the start of another season, we can expect a gradual increase of temperature in the next few days until it peaks in May, the hottest month. Brace yourselves coz our body may feel up to 40C summer heat, so don't forget some basic rules:

      • Dress for summer
      • Hydrate
      • Avoid too much sun exposure

I didn’t bother to entertain rewards or perks before because I thought it’s a waste of time and there’s a loooong process to take before you could get the meager amount of prize.  But now it’s different, things are made easier with online processes, and if you know where to find the FAQs on their website, you basically get the key information you need, or you may get the info from trade printing flyers. Recently, I claimed my Globe mobile rewards for 400 pesos and it was applied directly to my bill; convenient. Then, I also registered to SM Advantage rewards last year, and now I have almost 200 points. I didn’t even mind my points or find ways to claim these rewards, until a cashier asked me if I want to use my points to pay for my purchase; economical. I am happy with these rewards; it’s a good way to keep customers so they better keep them coming.

SuperCat 2GO

For those who are travelling to and from Cebu or Bohol, here's the latest schedule of their daily trips. It's a two hour trip and the regular fare is 500 pesos one way, plus 25 pesos terminal fee.

(Schedule as of March 20, 2014)

Depart from CEBU
8:30 AM
3:30 PM

Depart from TAGBILARAN
11:00 AM
5:45 PM

I wanted to post this to help other because they might be caught in a situation I had yesterday. This info is available on their website however, I wasn’t sure if it is updated since they had irregular schedule after the earthquake and Yolanda last year, and it was my first 2GO ride this year. I tried contacting their hotline (+63 (32) 233-7000)  but it would still be available at 8:00, and I had to travel early, so I tried browsing for recent blogs which could confirm the schedule on the website, but didn't find any. So I hope this information could help others who will be searching online. I just want to let travelers know that this is the current schedule. And FYI for travelers, if time allows, better choose SuperCat than Oceanjet, they have the same regular price, but the former is so much comfortable and spacious, you'll get your money's worth.

Flight MH370's disappearance is such a mystery. With the era of advanced technology, it's a wonder that there's still no definite lead, 10 days after the incident. Since there's no proof of death, it would be really hopeful to think that the plane is still intact, and the 239 people on board are still alive. I am praying for them and their families. Since this case is so hazy and the investigators are still unclear on several factors, the families of these people would have difficulty finding closure.

At least we now know that the communication system was intentionally turned off so the plane will be undetectable, but who's really behind it and what's the intention of doing it. This news is really sad and interesting at the same time, and I don't think they will come up with a highly credible explanation, unless, someone is still alive to tell the story.

I've had several new songs that I like lately, thanks to 8tracks. I like the feature where you explore playlists by selecting tags. I usually like the relax and indie playlists, but sometimes I encounter lists that don't really belong to the genre indicated. Anyway, some of the songs I like which I first heard from this internet radio are Skinny Love by Birdy, & The Paper Kites by Bloom.

Suits 02

When the news about Gabriel Macht to visit Tacloban came, I was reminded that I should continue watching Suits. So I'm halfway season 2 and I'm really wondering what's up with the can opener and thumbtacks ritual. I really love the character of Donna more, and I always like the Louis-Donna conversation when they exchange favors, I'm glad she's back in the firm.  Then,  I don't know why I hate that Jenny girl, I hope they won't be together again, I would never want Mike to end up with her.

Cate Blanchett for me was the best dressed during the Oscars 2014. She's a goddess in her Armani dress, which could be a perfect wedding inspiration. The earrings were also a perfect match and nothing more could be better than to pair it with bridal ring sets. For other celebrities, their gowns just look elegant, but not really particularly stunning. I even wonder why Hathaway and Jolie are always on the best-dressed list.

Wishin' and Hopin'

I celebrated my 30th with my close friends from college.  We started the day with a relaxing massage and facial cleansing at Grand Royal Spa in Banilad, and ended with bottles of ice-cold beer at Formo. They have Retro Rewind theme every Saturday; it was nice to listen again to the 70's and 80's  hits. It was also a perfect background music as we shared life's different points of view.

So for this awesome year, I am wishin' for good health, hopin' to always find contentment, prayin' for guidance, plannin' for more investments and dreamin' for a Euro trip.

Saturday, February 22, 2014

Thank God it's Feb 22! It is my birthday! I am very grateful but I actually have been waiting for this day to pass by just like any other day. You know, all these pressures of turning 30 gives so much drama, especially to women. Couldn't help it, the more you try to ignore it, the more it would give you insomnia and give you time to think about your accomplishments, relationships, career, finding your passion, future, etc.

But I'm glad today is already here. Tomorrow, these thoughts will ease up and I could relax. 30 is the new 20 anyway.

Sunday, February 9, 2014

I watched Grammy Awards last weekend and here are my favorites:

- Julia Roberts' introduction of Paul and Ringo
- Taylor Swift's performance
- Brave by Sara Bareilles & Carole King
- Lamar and Imagine Dragons
- Lang Lang and Metallica
- Beyonce and JayZ
- Macklemore's Same Love
- John Legend's  All Of Me

And my disliked moments:

- Nate Ruse' look
- Katy Perry's performance which was all about props and backdrops
- Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O'Connor's live performance of Royals

What a cool mashup of two cool songs...

Hakuna Matata

I chose to watch Lion King today after a long day's work. The movie soundtrack's beat, lightened up my mood.  I believe it has been more than a decade since the last time I watched the movie. Well, it was still entertaining for me, and left me in a state of Hakuna Matata, which means no worries.

Basyang 2014

Tropical Storm Basyang, the 2nd cyclone this year, crossed Cebu last night. We felt the strong winds and heavy rains at the station for approximately 4 hours, then it continued to traverse towards Western Visayas. The disturbance tracked a westward direction, moving fast at a rate of 39kph. It was short and simple, unlike Agaton, which lingered for so many days from birth to decay and caused flashfloods and landslides in several areas in Mindanao. For February and March, we have a slim chance for development of cyclone and there will less thunderstorms, so I better keep myself busy with some post analysis or case study.

Not a good start for CNY. Just woke up and I shouldn't have checked my FB feeds, some news are so disheartening and annoying. Then NE monsoon is now weakening and the temperature’s starting to rise, transition is almost here and I'm not ready for summer. I don’t know why I’m not in a good mood on my rest day. :(
Well, I’d better listen to some chill + calm playlist and relax my mind, as well as my eyes.  It’s time for Kung Hei Fat Choy, let’s eat some tikoy!

Tuesday, January 28, 2014

Still in the mood for goal setting, and I am challenging myself to see good results at the end of the year and hoping this attitude of mine will last until the next cold season.

Back to normal

I was able to visit Alona in Panglao last Wednesday, and I was happy to see that everything's back to normal. The beach is now alive at night and the restobars are now filled with foreigners as entertainers play some classics, and gives the crowd a relaxing mood. Well, generally, seems like Bohol is ready for the peak season. In a matter two months, the sun's heat will start to kick in and summer will be in full blast.

I missed Sinulog to attend the annual Project Review Analysis in Manila. It was kind of exhausting for me as I was tasked to rapporteur for the whole day of the1st day, then was also tasked to make the summary in PowerPoint presentation during the 2n day. But the important thing is it was another successful gathering with the executives, and it was nice to know the plans of the agency especially that most of the project are leaning toward modernization. It sounds like each division has good plans and I hope I will also have good plans and goals for myself this year so that next year, I could have a good smile when I review this bold red planners:

George & Ringo

One of the spots I visited in Sydney is the Powerhouse Museum. I specifically chose this coz of their exhibition on The Beatles' visit in Australia in June 1964. I was definitely engrossed with the memorabilia displayed, from Lennon's suit during the concert, to the original communication letters for the said event, and this one was my favorite:
I also kept coming back at the jukebox section so I could choose to play my favorite Beatles song while exploring that section. There were exhibits where you get to listen to their radio interviews in Sydney, as well as watch several video clips of their arrival. I should have come earlier; I spent several hours in that section alone, which left me few hours for the other floors of the museum.

Thumbs up to Disney's Frozen. I couldn't help but cry during the scene when Anna sang "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman", it was just so cute and emotional. Then the "Let It Go" scene, (my last song syndrome for the past days) was really surprising as it showed how powerful Elsa was. But the movie wouldn't be that good if not for Olaf. His character brought humor to the movie. A perfect movie for the family as it teaches, strength, compassion and most of all, the act of true love.

On the other side of the Earth, this movie probably seemed real to those who are experiencing the polar vortex and are now in deep deep deep snow and cold. Well, another extreme weather that proves climate change, thus a need for serious adaptation.

18 days of summer

I had an awesome summer Christmas holiday in Sydney. While some parts of America are experiencing winter's chill, down under, we got to enjoy sunshine as we wander around the beautiful spots around the city. So in 18 days, I was able to visit 11 wonderful attractions.

Stop 1: Featherdale Wildlife Park

Stop 2: Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge and The Rocks

Stop 3: Bicentennial Park

Stop 4: Manly Beach

Stop 5: Museum of Contemporary Art

Stop 6: Bundeena Beach

Stop 7: Sydney International Regatta Centre

Stop 8: Darling Harbour

Stop 9: Blue Mountains

Stop 10: Lake Parramatta

Stop 11: Powerhouse Museum

And of course, there's this lovely home in Richmond St where we spend our Christmas and New Year

Tattoo wifi

Found a good deal for my internet connection. I bought the Tattoo mobile wifi from globe and added a plan for unlimited surfing. The device costs 2000 pesos and the unlimited plans is almost 600. The downside though is the battery life; it only lasts for about 4 hours so you really need to plug it in most of the time. But it still works for me since I usually just use it while I'm in my boarding house and I could still maximise it as I could connect my 4 devices. It's time to upgrade anyway coz I was only using the prepaid stick.

Cutest baby Kye at 4 months. I will miss you so much. I hope you will still be a baby the next time I see you.

Happy 2014!

It was indeed a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Had an awesome end of 2013 and a perfect start of 2014 with my family around.

The start of another year gives me more excitement knowing that I don't exactly know what's in store for me for the next 365 days - an earthquake, typhoon, lotto jackpot maybe, anything could happen. So I pray that I will be able to handle the trials I will encounter along the way and I hope I would be able to see more of the oceans, the lakes, the forests, the mountains. I am just so much inspired by nature's beauty while in Sydney, kinda gives you a different level of joy. I am so awed by the beautiful sceneries; you won’t mind the summer’s heat. I am so thankful I am here and I hope I could explore more of nature this year.
